Concrete weight:

  • Step 1 - Enter the Volume of Concrete:

To calculate the weight of your concrete, you first need to determine its total volume in cubic meters (m³). If you don’t know this, simply multiply:

    📏 Length × Width × Depth

For example, if your slab is 3 meters long, 10 meters wide, and 100mm (0.1m) deep, the volume calculation would be:

    3m × 10m × 100mm = 3.00 m³

If you’re unsure how much concrete you need, use our Concrete Volume Calculator first.

  • Step 2: Select the Type of Concrete:

Concrete weight varies depending on whether it is fresh (wet) or cured (dry).

✔ Fresh (Wet) Concrete – This includes water content and weighs approximately 2,400 kg per cubic meter (kg/m³). Use this option if you're calculating weight before the concrete has set.

✔ Cured (Dry) Concrete – After the concrete has fully set and dried, some of the water evaporates, making it slightly lighter at around 2,200 kg per cubic meter (kg/m³). Use this option if you're calculating the weight of an existing, hardened slab.

💡 Only one option can be selected at a time – If you choose one, the other will be automatically deselected.

  • Step 3: Get Your Concrete Weight Estimate:

Once you've entered the volume and selected the concrete type, the calculator will instantly provide the estimated total weight of the concrete in kilograms (kg).

    For example:

    3.00 m³ of Fresh (Wet) Concrete → 7,200 kg (3.00 × 2,400)
    3.00 m³ of Cured (Dry) Concrete → 6,600 kg (3.00 × 2,200)
